License Types
DWTC Authority licenses entitles companies of all sizes, from startups and SMEs to large multinationals, to enjoy a number of benefits to operate in Dubai. They also enable companies with prior presence locally or internationally to establish a new branch with us or move their operations entirely. DWTC Authority offers licenses under the following broad categories.
| Commercial License |

| Carrying out trading activities specified in the License that allows the import, export, sale, distribution and storage of items specified in the License. |
| Professional License |

| Carrying out the services specified on the License within the free zone and elsewhere in the UAE (although additional local licenses may be required in most other jurisdictions). These include services such as event management, consulting, software, training, repair, catering, and human resources services. |
| Event Management License |

| Organising of meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions (MICE). |
| Dual License |

| Business Operating Permits are issued to locally licensed entities by the DED in order to obtain a lease and operate in the DWTCA free zone. |
